The LCPAAA was formed to bring together graduates of the Lancaster Citizen Police Academy (CPA) together to improve relations between the police department and the civilian community in all phases of law enforcement activities, and to further the goals and objectives of the Lancaster Police Department.
Upon successful graduation from the Citizen Police Academy (CPA), students are then encouraged to join the Lancaster Citizen Police Academy Alumni Association (LCPAAA). The LCPAAA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Lancaster community and the Lancaster Police Department through volunteer community service. The CPA class is held every 2 years, typically starting in the fall, depending on funding. More information about the CPA can be found here.
